Biography of Adrian Pressley

Recording artist Adrian Pressley is a "genius of vocal colors." He has galvanized audiences all over the world with his rich voice. Adrian says, "I strongly believe the Lord is using me with music; I have experienced the Lord using me through song, where the spoken word may not have been readily received." His debut CD, Songs of the Deep Soul, to released summer 2004, exemplifies Adrian's belief beautifully.

The Lord has been using Adrian's voice for a long time. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Adrian began singing in church at a very early age. Since graduating from Andrews University in Michigan, he has soared musically. As a member of the internationally known gospel group, Harvest Celebration, he toured the gospel circuit extensively throughout North America, and parts of Africa and Europe. Adrian has appeared on national television programs such as Pat Robertson's 700 Club.

A pivotal moment in Adrian's career came when he joined the world renowned Harlem Spiritual Ensemble, a group dedicated to the preservation and presentation of American Negro Spirituals. As a member of this six member group, he traveled the globe performing in major concert halls in countries such as France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Italy, Austria, Nigeria and Botswana.

Adrian is an ordained minister of the Gospel and serves as an Associate Pastor for his church in Riverside, California, and maintains a full travel schedule for Nairda Music Ministries.

His commitment to Jesus is evident not only in the ministry work with his church, but also, in his first CD, Songs of the Deep Soul. Adrian shares the depth of this commitment in some of the most gloriously orchestrated hymns you will ever hear. Adrian captures the heart and soul of the American Negro Spiritual in songs set to the vibrant rhythms and hues complemented by a beautifully orchestrated big band.
